Refund Policy

Cancellation by Venue:

In the event that the Venue cancels the event no less than 72 hours prior to the commencement of the event, the Company shall refund 75% (seventy-five percent) of the money received from the Venue. Alternatively, an email can also be sent by the Venue with the order details from the registered email ID for cancellation of the event. The Artist shall receive 25% of the monies received from the Venue subject to a deduction of 7% transaction fee. In the event that the Venue cancels the event less than 72 hours prior to the commencement of the event, the Company shall not refund any money received from the Venue. Alternatively, an email can be sent by the Venue with the order details from the registered email ID for cancellation of the event. The Artist shall receive the entire money received from the Venue subject to a deduction of 7% transaction fee.

 

Cancellation/ Non-performance by the Artist:

The Artist is bound to abide by the scheduled time and place, decided by the Venue in its sole discretion. In the event the Artist cancels the event/fails to perform at the event for reasons attributable to the Artist, the Company may provide the Venue with an alternate Artist. In the event, the Venue rejects such alternate Artist or the Company fails to provide such an alternate artist, the Company shall refund the entire money received from the Venue. Provided however that, the Company shall be entitled to deduct the 7% transaction fee chargeable on the cancelled event, out of the fees that the Artist shall receive for the next event in addition for the 7% transaction fee charged on such new event. If the pending 7% transaction fee has not been recovered within 30 days from the date of the cancelled event, the Company shall be entitled to avail necessary remedies available at law.

 

Cancellation of Artist Services

All refund requests will be analysed for non-delivery of services. In the event of non-delivery of Artist Services by any of the partners, refunds will be initiated to the source account / card within 7 days of request

 

MyGigStar may, in certain exceptional circumstances and at its sole and absolute discretion, refund the amount to the User after deducting applicable cancellation charges and taxes.

Refunds will be initiated to the source account / card within 7 working days of the cancellation. Venue / Artist will receive the amount, depending on the bank / card issuer’s policies / processes – generally 2 to 7 working days.

Refunds will be initiated on a case to case basis and will depend on various factors including but not limited to anti-money laundering, fraud detection etc.
